Bibliotek Lava

Bibliotek Lava is a free arts paper of record + local signal of place from South Whidbey Island.
Made on Snohomish, Coast Salish and intertribal Lushootseed-speaking ancestral land ceded with paper and ink in 1855 Treaty of Point Elliot still in force.
We are inspired by fin whales, who will make exceptionally loud, low frequency sound that simply says there is a fin whale here.
Our newsstand box is located on 2nd street in Langley on Whidbey Island, WA. Find us in libraries, galleries and shops around South Whidbey.
